More about this ottawa condo
The Sussex is located on the edge of the Byward Market and is one of Ottawa’s prestigious condominium buildings. Built by Arnon in 1975, it is one of the first condominium buildings to be constructed around Parliament. Standing at 12 storeys, it contains 84 two and three bedroom units all with stunning views of the Ottawa and Gatineau River, as well as the Ottawa skyline.
Majority of the units feature gleaming hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and expansive windows in both the living area and bedrooms. The primary bedroom has an ensuite as well as a walk in closet, and a large balcony with stunning views. The kitchens feature lots of cabinet space, tiled flooring and back splashes, stainless steel appliances, and kitchen island with eat up breakfast bar.
Living on embassy row, you are just steps outside the hustle and bustle of the Byward Market. Just a short walk from your front door is Bordeleau Park where you can walk, run, and cycle along the Rideau River. But just a few blocks away is the heart of the Byward Market where you can find everything and anything you could possibly need, without having to be overwhelmed by the business every day.
The market is rich with various restaurants from Italian to Mexican, Asian inspired or a simple diner. A coffee shop and bakery are on every corner where you can grab a refreshing drink and pastry as you walk through the market stands. During the warmer months of the year, there is an open air market that sells locally grown fruit and vegetables, preserves and jams, as well as artists selling their jewellery or items they have made. Just beyond the market is the Rideau Shopping Centre where you can shop to your heart's content. Within the mall there is also a Shoppers Drug Mart, a Farmboy, and Nordstroms.
Living at The Sussex you can have it all; luxury, convenience, and location.
