1081, 1171, and 1100 Ambleside condominiums are located next to the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, on the cusp of Lincoln fields before the Britannia Conservation Area. These unique buildings are in their own small section along Ambleside Dr and Richmond Rd. 

The three Ambleside towers were built between 1974 and 1976 by Minto. Each building is comprised of over 300 one, two, and three bedroom units. 

The majority of the units feature open concept living spaces, high ceilings, expansive windows, balcony access from the living area, and spacious bedrooms. The kitchens feature lots of cabinet space, granite or laminate countertops, tiled flooring and backsplash, and extra room for a breakfast nook. Some units have been renovated as open concept and feature stainless steel appliances and further upgrades.

Amenities at these condo buildings include an exercise centre, guest suites, an indoor and outdoor pool (1100 Ambleside), a party room, a recreation centre, a sauna, underground parking, and storage lockers.

Within walking distance of the Ambleside towers is the Carlingwood Mall where you will find an Loblaws, many shops, a Rexall, a Dollar Store, coffee shops, and a food court. Across from the mall are several restaurants, a Starbucks, and a Bulk Barn. A further down Old Richmond Road (towards Britannia) is a Farmboy, Dairy Queen, and a Metro grocery store. 

For those that use public transportation to get to and from work, the Lincoln Fields Station is a 16 minute walk from your front door where you can grab any OC Transpo bus to bring you to Tunney’s Pasture and the LRT, or any bus to bring you to Bayshore Mall (10 minute drive) or further West to Kanata and Stittsville. 

Outdoor enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Britannia Conservation Area is a short walk where you can enjoy walking along Mud Lake and along the Ottawa River.
